Which computers does it support?

FileCraft is designed for macOS 14 or later. Available architectures will be listed with released packages.

Is everything ready?

PDF and form functionality depends on the document. Acrobat-specific APIs are not fully supported.

FileCraft ist eine native PDF-App für macOS 14 oder neuer. Aktueller Entwicklungsstand: Version 0.69.0 · Stand 16. Oktober 2026. Mit FileCraft kannst du PDFs lesen, unterstützte Text- und Bildinhalte bearbeiten, Dokumentseiten organisieren und Formulare gestalten oder ausfüllen. OCR unterstützt die Arbeit mit gescannten Dokumenten. Änderungen lassen sich rückgängig machen und als PDF-Kopie speichern. Neu im aktuellen Stand: Ergänzung fehlender Schriftzeichen mit ausdrücklich ausgewählten Schriften, Vorschau bei der Rekonstruktion von Scan-Hintergründen sowie eine lokale Laufzeit für unterstützte dynamische Formulare. Die Formularverarbeitung läuft in einem getrennten Sandbox-Prozess. FileCraft befindet sich in Entwicklung. Die Kompatibilität hängt vom jeweiligen PDF ab; insbesondere Acrobat-spezifische Formularfunktionen sind nicht vollständig abgedeckt. Der öffentliche Download ist noch nicht freigeschaltet. Diese Seite stellt den aktuellen Entwicklungsstand vor; sie ist keine Freigabe eines Installationspakets.
